Here is the final review part one, and here is the other half.
Remember, all answers are on past worksheets or on this very website. Just keep scrolling down through the posts to find powerpoints, worksheets, stories, etc. There will be a few questions about Night too. (We'll discuss this in class).

This week we're in the career center researching a career of interest before making a powerpoint presentation. Next week, we will learn a few speech basics before giving 2-3minute speech, using the powerpoint, to the class. Powerpoint = 100 formative points (Rubric) Speech = 100 summative points (Rubric) Example PowerPoint Helpful speech youtube videos: Inflection = What makes your voice interesting to listen to! Body Posture = How you physically present yourself (swaying, fidgeting, standing up straight, eye contact, etc.) We will give our speeches next Wednesday-Friday (10th-12th) in a randomly selected order. Postponing your speech a day will result in the loss of 10 points. Night While working in the career center, students will be responsible for finishing Night outside of class time (99 pages) and completing a study guide & two theme paragraphs (100 formative points). --- Due Thursday, Dec. 11th We will discuss the novel and complete activities the last week of the semester. This will be covered on the final. No separate summative test will be given. |
